Hello there! welcome to this weeks preview of Anime Corner! I will try to make one of these rotational actual blogs posted weekly. Let's get right to it!

God.
This anime has it's one-year anniversary soon, and through 127 episodes watched, it still never gets old. All of the regular emotion gets compressed into a 12 episode anime, and I can't agree less other than I NEED ANOTHER SEASON! I'm glad they announced the new season and even the movie in the making. If they made it longer, all the emotion will not be as concentrated as how they made it. I've never seen a better anime (other than hentai) that got a spot in literally every other anime award last year. I feel like Yuri saying he'll win gold pretty early on gave me a feeling that that he won't. That's pretty much the only thing I could thing about that could possibly be bad about this anime.
There has been a lot of controversies and criticism about Yuri and Victors unofficial same-sex relationship. My thoughts: I think that homosexualism is cool and can be part of our society. This topic is seen in YURI!!! ON ICE when the supposedly kiss in Episode 7, Exchanges rings in episode 10, and when Yuri suggests ending their relationship in episode 12. Where the controversy comes in is when the producers don't call it a same-sex relationship as in Japan it is currently illegal to have same-sex marriage. The criticism comes along because the audience doesn't enjoy a same-sex relationship, probably because the municipality they live in doesn't allow same-sex marriages. The authors say on the controversy proves what they think is false. I'd like to think it is a same-sex relationship because I live in a place where that's allowed to happen, but I think whatever the producers think goes.

Hi!! It's Renia and here is my review of Yuri!!! on ICE.
So I've watched all of YOI so far, and I love it a lot! I think that the storyline is simple but really compelling and addicting, enough that i watched it all in two days. Its a super great anime and I completely reccomend it

Hey everyone, this is Erika. YOI was probably my favourite anime I've watched, and that's actually saying something. The storyline was easy enough to follow, and I especially loved all of the diversity. I also liked that the season was fairly short as it helped make it more engaging. I also love the gayness. There is a lot of gayness. I recommend this for sure!
